When I started to volunteer at the shelter, Zooey was already there in an isolation room. She was angry and scared. She did not trust people or like other cats. After patiently spending time with her, she stopped growling and striking out. She even let me hold her! Nine months later, she is a sweet lap cat who loves attention, play and treats. She is still feisty and has a mind of her own. She loves her toys, bed, food, window, and a good long nap in my lap. It is amazing that this mistreated and abandoned kitty has become such a loving friend and companion. I love my crazy calico with her funny half tail! Thanks to MWHS she has a forever home!
