We adopted Mia from MWHS in October 2015 after returning from a trip to Florida and visiting a shelter seeing all the cats that were in need of adoption when rescued from a hoarder's home in Naples. We wanted to adopt locally and knew MWHS was the best place to find our new fur baby. We are a blended family and Mia gives the kids comfort and purpose together. The kids chose her name. Mia is a sweetheart! She has an older sister named Chloe and they keep each other active. Mia is very talkative and always greets us at the door. She is playful and very affectionate! I don't get much accomplished when she wants her snuggle time.
