About Engelheim Vineyard
In 2007, Gary and Jan Engel decided to purchase the land that is now known as Engelheim (German for “Angel Home”). The Engel family planted their first vines in 2009 and harvested their first vintage in 2011. In 2014, they opened their bavarian-style tasting room. In 2020, Engelheim broke ground to build a 12,000 square foot event center, Venue in the Vines. Engelheim is home to over 20+ awards for our outstanding lineup of wines including many double gold and silver medals from the largest competition of American wines, the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. On top of various prestigious awards, they have received the “2018 Georgia Winery of the Year '', and "Best Georgia Grown Wine" in 2020 for their Petite Manseng and in 2021 for their red blend Doxology.
About MUSH Rescue
Based in Metro Atlanta,
MUSH Rescue was founded in 2008 to help displaced Siberians in the community and surrounding areas. MUSH Rescue is a network of foster homes run entirely by dedicated volunteers. Chapter directors, officers, and trustees are also all volunteers. The shared love for Siberian Huskies and the desire to help these displaced animals find their fur-ever homes is what brings these volunteers together.
As a nonprofit, federal tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, MUSH Rescue depends on fundraising, private donations, and adoption fees to cover the expenses of the dogs rescued. They rely on the generosity of donors who understand and admire the complexity of this unique and highly intelligent breed, and want to help combat the effects of pet overpopulation in the community.
100% of the proceeds from the Pet Calendar Contest submissions and voting will go directly to MUSH Rescue to further their life saving work.
