A little about me...
He is named after Detective Deeks from the TV series NCIS Los Angeles. He had the windswept surfer hair on his head, a scraggly beard and lanky stature when we met him. Now he is a healthy, thriving boy and loving life.
He was rescued from BARC in Houston. The day I saw his photo, I knew we were meant to be fur-ever friends. He was in Houston, we were in Memphis, TN. My daughter drove down from Ft. Hood to adopt him for us. We drove from Memphis to pick him up a week later and he has been the joy of our lives since July 29th 2017. He is an original with his full ears and gorgeous tail. Such a handsome boy and our 1st Schnauzer (he's our 4th) with a full tail. So friendly, loved by all who meet him.
