A little about me...
Deeks was adopted at a BARC $5.00 adoption day in Houston, TX. He loves riding in my car with the window down and the breeze in his face. My daughter Regina drove to Houston from Killeen to adopt Deeks on $5.00 adoption day @ BARC. There was one family ahead of her and Gina called and sounded bleak. I told her it's ok, Deeks was heartworm positive. The family declined and he was ours. We drove down to get him the following week after he cleared medical. He was tall/lanky shaggy and underweight (13.5lb) with a matted full tail. My husband said: "he looks like Detective Deeks from NCIS LA series". Deeks got his name, a fur-ever home, an older brother and heartworm treated. He is now a healthy (25lb), loving, playful fur baby and a fabulous addition for our home. He has cleared the backyard of moles, rabbits, locus and anything else he deems not worthy in his dogdom, although the duck that landed in the pool was a challenge, he scared it away with zest.
