Gerti was adopted in Dec 2013 after being rescued from the dog pound in Houston by a very loving person from MSRH. It took several months for us to find each other through MSRH, but it was love at first sight. Gerti moved to the beautiful Black Hills in South Dakota in June, 2017, and is enjoying the wildlife, the four seasons, clean air and pretty views. Gerti is the #1 model and photographer's assistant for Anne Sutton Photography, and she goes with me everywhere and scopes out the photo locations and lighting. She has learned to turn and pose when I tell her "I'm going to take your picture". Gerti is my best friend and constant companion, and I am so thankful to MSRH for rescuing her and taking good care of her for months until we met.
