Pet's Story
Tessie is a 9-lb chihuahua/terrier mix with legs for days, ears only a mother could love, and the most boopable nose. She’s got the chihuahua sass and terrier scrappiness, but she’s 100% a momma’s girl. She is the definition of a Velcro dog and that is completely OK with us.

Don’t let her age fool you! She can still jump like Jordan and hear a treat bag from a mile away. And she may be an old lady dog but she doesn’t take crap from anyone (except thunder - then you’ll find her hiding under the bed). She’s been known to ward off dogs 10x her size and give other peanut-sized dogs a run for their money.

But when it comes to people…she may be a momma’s girl but she’s also never met a stranger. She’d never turn down belly rubs and back pats, and once you’ve started though, don’t stop because she’ll nudge your hand until you have no choice.

She loves long walks, car rides, our lake house in NH, beer gardens, and warm weather. If we could take her everywhere we absolutely would. She’s way cooler than us and she knows it. We love her more than words can say.
