While volunteering with Muddy Paws as both a foster parent and an adoption event volunteer, I learned about a 6 month old black and floofy boy coming in from Kentucky, named Max.

My childhood dog, Max, also a black and floofy nice man passed at 16 in November 2022 and he was our entire world. I knew instantly it was a sign from my Max that this was meant to be my dog.

I reached out to make it official but unfortunately, I wasn't the only one who had my eye on him and he was adopted. I was absolutely heartbroken.

However, a day after my 30th birthday, I got a text from Muddy Paws that Max was being returned by his first adopters and that he could be mine. This is what they call meant to be.

Named (Max) Junior - my perfect, silly, gentle, lovable, curly boy!
