Pet's Story or Bio
Piper was rescued from San Diego in 2017 where she was in a shelter after wandering the streets of Mexico. She travelled with her temporary guardian to Blaine, WA where she decompressed on a beautiful ranch, in her own bed and was fed homemade food, not scavenged. She met her adopted mom in March of 2017 and moved to Southwestern British Columbia, Canada where she splits her time between the city and a farm run by her adopted aunties. In the city she enjoys walks in the park and snuggling under blankets. On the farm, she has participated (voluntarily!) in egg collecting (no joke) and pig herding (there’s pictures). She was even featured in a book called Rescue Tales (it’s true, Amazon sells it and her mom bought 2 copies) highlighting rescue dogs of British Columbia and their beautiful stories. She looks to be entering her twilight years, but it’s hard to say with not much documented history. A citizen of three countries, Piper is truly a worldly, cosmopolitan dog and ensures everyone around her remembers the status she expects to enjoy.
