Your pet's story or bio
Callie was one of a litter of 10 rescued from some rough streets in Northern California. The shelter folks named the litter after the Big Ten Sports teams and gave her the name, “Buckeye” after Ohio State. We fostered Buckeye and fell in love with her, as did our 13 year old border collie mix. Although we failed at fostering, gained a new family member on Christmas Eve, six years ago. Michigan fans that we are, we had to rename her! It was meant to be.
