A little about me...
We adopted Izzy from MHWR when she was 4 months old and adopted Kane (blue weim) 3 years later when MHWR called saying they had a blue male they think maybe 3 years old, no nails, no hair, malnourished and would not interact with a single other dog & wouldn’t come out of the corner for days at the foster. Izzy I trained to be a therapy dog among other certifications by this point so I went to see him with a Izzy to see if he would come out of his shell for her, the true love was instant & the rest is history! They both were blood donors saving over 150 lives together! They both lived till 14 years old and Kane passed 3 months after Izzy wanting to be with his love! Will forever be in debt to MHWR for entrusting me and my family with these two dogs which were way more then dogs but rescued me from myself and Izzy eventually became my daughters therapy dog, when she left she knew we were in better place and could take on the world!
