I adopted River from the animal shelter on her kill day. She was untrained, however responded very well and soon had manners. She made a point of wagging her tail to let people know how friendly she was, especially if they showed any fear of her. She never left my side for 8 months while I went through cancer treatment. She loves to play. After much taunting by the dachshund Vida, she chased Vida right out her very small doggie door. She was a bit embarrassed.
