Mr. Tang was back at the Mendocino Coast Humane Society’s Adoption Center after a failed adoption. We noticed Tang on the website and went to see him at the end of 2022. He checked us out hesitantly from a high perch, but a feather toy broke the ice and the game was on. We learned that Tang had bonded with a younger male Tuxedo cat named Sloan while at the Center. The next day we adopted Tang and Sloan together. Tang “talks” expressively about what he is doing, plays with his best buddy Sloan and patrols the house for intruders at night. He enjoys scratches, rubbing against our legs and is the best foot warmer on the bed.
