Mr. Sloan was at the Mendocino Coast Humane Society’s Adoption Center and had bonded with a slightly older ginger cat named Tang. When we visited at the end of 2022, Sloan confidently met us and played with a feather toy. He then jumped into the lap of our friend and curled up. Sloan had just selected us to take him home. The next day we adopted Sloan and his buddy Tang together. Sloan likes to be near the action, is very intelligent and often supervises the computer desk. He lets us know when Amazon packages arrive, loves to play with Tang, chase cat toys and sleep in the sun or on a soft bed.
