We adopted Mooki from the Mendo Coast Hum. Soc. in January of 2021. She was surrendered and had 5 beautiful puppies just days after coming to the shelter. Since I was volunteering there I would give her a break from feeding and take her for walks. Of course I fell in love with her and she is the light of every day at our house. So lucky to have been allowed to adopt her. There were plenty of people who were interested, but I stuck my foot in the door and we would have been heartbroken if this hadn't worked out.
