Carly is a Great Pyrenees-Border Collie mix whose daddy got sick and a neighbor took care of her. She was pregnant and gave birth to 3 adorable puppies. That was too many dogs for him to care for so he turned her over to Best Friends Animal Society in Kennab, Utah. Our gorgeous German Shepherd passed away and we started searching shelters on the internet. My husband found Carly who had the saddest face we had ever seen. She lost her Dad, her puppies were adopted, she was spayed and wouldn't eat or drink. She was simply emotionally rung out. We hired a dog transporter who picked her up in Utah and brought her to us in California. It was love at first sight. We took her to the vet who put her on a prescription diet and now she eats, drinks and loves every person who comes to the house. She puts her head in your lap and just wants to be petted. She doesn't bark, give licking kisses or play with toys except a tennis ball. We wish everyone could meet this precious dog who starts service dog training soon.
