Rascal chose us at the Fort Bragg shelter. We were searching for a siamese, but he had other plans. This domestic shorthair with a fiery Abyssinian streak won us over with his persistent and loving personality. He came home to a slow-to-warm-up old Pixie Bob that desperately needed a companion. Once the pecking order was established, the two become brothers. Our old kitty rarely drags around his stuffed teddy anymore, and Rascal has become his companion animal! My 96 year old mother and I cannot imagine life without him. He is such a clown! In this photo he was climbing in a maple tree with fresh catnip from the garden urging him upward! He loves climbing to the highest heights, and often looks to the clouds….,
