Butterscotch was born on Halloween in 2009. He came to our home in January of 2010 with lots of anxiety and a huge fear of men. He would growl, bark and nip at my husband until we left them alone for a weekend and they became friends. After many months of socializing, going for long walks, parades in town and camping a few times Butters likes almost everyone he meets. He still looks and acts like a puppy loving to chase squirrels on the coastal trail and keep deer out of our garden. He loves when his girls come home from college and the grandparents come to house sit, he gets extra spoiled during these visits!
