Penny was rescued from Lake county at 4 months old and brought to MCHS with her liter mates. It was obvious from the beginning that she had either dwarfism or Down syndrome because her siblings were 3 times her size and Penny’s facial features weren’t quite right but she was heathy and thriving… She was quickly scooped up by our Executive Director Judy and taken home to become part of the family! Penny has so much personality and has grown into herself but is still only the size of a 6 month old kitten but that doesn’t slow her down! She is the best cat we’ve ever had and we couldn’t imagine our life without her.
