Checkers came to us when my dad passed away. He had had a very restrictive life but found new love and companionship when he joined our pack of humans and 3 other fur friends at that time. They taught him how to dog play, explore the woods, that it’s OK to be on furniture, and kept my husband busy playing fetch every day. Checkers passed away this week and we will miss him every day forever.
