Your Pet's Story or Bio
Tino is my first dog. He came into my life 13 years ago, and I've never been the same. I rescued him from a life on the streets where he was beaten and starved. He weighed only 4 pounds when I met him. He can claim many accomplishments since that tough start. He was the only chihuahua to pass all tests to be a certified therapy dog, which qualified him to work in Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. He is also a support dog. He spends as much time as he can in Mendocino, likes patrolling the Botanical Gardens and considers the Lovers' Bench on the headlands to be his. He is a particular fan of KOZT, especially Breakfast with the Beatles. His life goal is to march in the July 4th parade and he will willingly change his name to Susan if he must. He always visits the Ark Thrift Shop to help other dogs and cats like him who need rescuing.
