Pet's Quirks
Wolfman or Wolfie is the sweetest most playful boy who gives the best hugs. He is a mix of pretty much every breed you can think of. He has a genetic condition that make his head and underside bald so he has to wear a hat and sunscreen when he spends time outside and pajamas to keep him warm in the winter, but he doesn’t mind too much. He is very talkative and loves to wrestle with his brother Odie. When Odie doesn’t feel like wrestling Wolfman has no problem wrestling with himself, the blanket, the couch…

Pet's Story
Wolfman came to us from a rescue in Texas. He was surrendered to the rescue as a puppy with two of his siblings. He was born on October 21, 2020. We found out about him through a post on Instagram and as soon as we saw him we knew he was meant to be part of our family. When we inquired about him we learned that he had been passed over by several potential adopters when they learned that his hair would likely never grow in. We love his unique look and his underdog story made us love him even more. It took about a month to coordinate getting him to NJ, but it was so worth it! He gets along great with his dog brother Odie and 4 cat brothers and sister. He loves food, playing, toys, and life! We get a lot of questions about what kind of dog he is so instead of the long list and explanation about his skin, we have created an unofficial, non-AKC recognized breed just for him: meet the first Tufted Lonestar Retriever!
