This photo was taken of Misty Mae at her friend Zinny’s house in Wailuku. She has a gentle nature and great disposition. She gets along with other dogs, kids, cats and always has a smile on her face.

She is a shelter rescue who belonged to my brother. When he passed away suddenly, she began her journey to Maui. Although she was unexpected, she brings us nothing but joy and aloha.

I can’t stress to everyone to adopt shelter animals. A dog doesn’t need papers to make them a valuable, loving member of your family.
