I adopted Luna (formerly known as Matcha) from the Maui Humane Society in 2019, when she was just about 2 months old. I’ve been looking for a puppy to take home from the Humane Society for so long and never saw one. One random evening about 10 minutes before closing, I paid The Maui Humane Society a visit. In the last kennel I saw a litter of little puppy’s that apparently got brought in that day. I asked the workers about them and only 1 didn’t get adopted that day, which was Luna. Luna was the most shy in her litter, she was hiding in the back & when I got to hold her I saw that she had a broken little tail. I love that she was unique with her tail and she was so cute. I immediately signed papers to pick her up the next day to take her home. Luna loves digging in sand, hiking, going for walks, laying on the couch, eating ice cubes & getting her weekly puppuccino’s from Starbucks. Luna has the best personality & I love living life with her!
