Jake is an LBD (little black dog) who has stolen our hearts. He came to our family in 2016 as a scrawny little guy, one of two puppies found alive and malnourished, in South Carolina, and was luckily picked up by MAMAs. When we saw his little video we could not let him go to any other home. He joined our family and would follow his “big brother” Koda around with his head in Koda’s butt fluff until he built up his confidence. With lots of care, nutrition and lots of love, he fluffed out and became a beautiful, sweet, cuddle bug. Jake loves food, cicadas, his toy ‘chicken’, zoomies, sleeping, snow and his family. He is a very good boy and so smart. We chose this picture because he looks sweet and content. It was just starting to snow—Jake’s favorite—and he was enjoying the moment.
