Peaches (originally Patches) came to Low Rider as an owner surrender just before the annual Jingle Paws adoption event at Phillipi Creek in Sarasota. We had recently lost our previous rescue, Charlie Louise (from Skyway Dachshund Rescue ) and my husband had said “no more dogs”……until he took this sweet girl for a short walk, came back and said “I want this dog”! Peaches is definitely her Daddy’s doxie; we call her his “Velcro” girl” - she rescued us from the empty feeling and quiet of a doxie less home, thank you Low Rider!
