Bodhi is an alumni from Low Rider Dachshund Rescue. (Formerly named Sammy)

We adopted this cutie in February 2023. He spent the first 9 years of his life in a backyard breeding environment. He was surrendered in 2022 to Low Rider Dachshund Rescue with many health problems.
With the help of LRDR and a wonderful foster mom he was ready for a forever home. My husband and I were so happy we were chosen adopt him and give our other dachshund Penny a fur sibling.
It's been such a wonderful journey. It's beautiful to watch him explore his new world and bond with Penny. He approaches everything with pure joy. He wants to be included in everything. Life is so exciting for him. We love him so much.
