Duncan was our first dachshund who led the way for many more small family dogs. We still have his two younger siblings - Tucker, the dachshund and Rylie, the puggle. Piper, who I have also entered in the contest as well, just joined our family in February, one year after Duncan passed away at age 17. I "rescued" Duncan and later Tucker from a nearby pet store when I went in to get supplies. I couldn't leave them behind and they both stole my heart. Duncan was the best little guy who loved to burrow under the covers, but still maintained his independence. We miss him so much.
