LOWCOUNTRY TEACHER INITIATIVE
Our teachers have been hit the hardest with this pandemic and if you have been reading the paper or watching the news on television, you have undoubtedly seen the stories about our local teacher burnout, low morale, or even worse…teachers quitting. Our teachers are the lifeline and frontline for our young leaders and without them, our students don’t have a chance.
We are doing this photo contest to highlight some amazing teachers, to honor them with prizes, and to continue our Gifts of Happiness initiative of delivering coffee, pastries/bagels, lunches, and other treasures to schools in our Lowcountry community. We started this initiative on February 2, 2022 and have delivered to 10 schools so far with more on the way. Beginning in the 2022-2023 school year, we kick it off again and plan to deliver to many more school. If you are a school, and have not received your Gift of Happiness, schedule yours today!
It’s just a small part to recognize and thank our teachers for all that they do. We partnered with Panera Bread and a few other great companies to help make this possible. Your votes help fund our Gifts of Happiness initiative.
