Tell us a little about you
I’ve been teaching 7th grade social studies for 9 years with 8 of those years in Charleston County Schools. I recently completed my Doctorate of Education in personalized learning and competency based instruction. I love incorporating technology into lessons to make hisTory come alive for students. Some things I do in my classroom include digital breakouts, Mystery Skype, and utilize virtual reality all while building their critical thinking skills. Many students come in to my class not liking history, but loving it when they leave.
