Tell us a little about you
My name is Shaquira Langley, I’ve been teaching for 7 years and I am also the creator of The Millennial Teacher Podcast. We aspire to highlight all things in education for the benefit of students, teachers, parents, and millennials.
As education often gets overlooked the platform that I have been able to create for educators and all parties involved in education has been an overflow of support and creating a space for educators, finally.
Three years ago I launched the very first episode of the Millennial Teacher Podcast. I’m in awe of the opportunities my podcast has afforded me, from interviewing millennials in education, nonprofits organizers, public figure representation, creation of my children’s workbook, being featured in articles, the local news and more. With that being said I love education!
Teachers often get overlooked although the work we do is more than enough to put in words. In the height of the pandemic educators were recognized and given a voice. The work that we do is hard and winning this vacation would be the greatest form of appreciation! Below are links to learn more about my love for education.
