A little about me...
I first heard about Eddie (originally named Bob) in Oct 2021. L.T. had rescued him from being forced to live on the streets. He was also FIV+ so he was temporarily living at the vets office until he could find a foster home. Although I was touched by his story I live in a small apt and already had 2 cats. One of which has special needs.
Then on Halloween my cat, Whitney tragically and unexpectedly passed away. I was
devastated. A few days later I saw a repost from L.T. still trying to find a foster home for Bob. Even though I was still heartbroken over the loss of my cat Whitney, I knew I could give Bob the forever home he deserved. I called Paul & Doreen & later that night Bob (quickly renamed Eddie by my little cousin) arrived and immediately made himself at home.
My 12 year old blind/deaf cat was NOT exactly thrilled to have a new house mate. The 2 have since managed to happily ignore eachother for the last 3 years.
Eddie enjoys greeting every guest that comes over by immediately jumping on their lap, nudging them to pet him and purring, LOUDLY! Although the circumstance of his adopted were sad, he is one VERY happy cat. Eddie brings a smile to the face of everyone that has the pleasure of meeting him.
