A little about me...
Sophie was found in a box with 4 siblings on a doorstep at a trailer park in Oklahoma. The founder was involved in rescue and she gave the dog to a well known Texas rescue. The owner put them an facebook with the names of the 4 Golden Girls. They were about 5 weeks old and had not been mistreated as they were "all ready to party"..they just had some fleas. I saw them on facebook and fell instantly in love. I already had several rescue dogs. I decided to adopt "Sophie" and she came in a rescue truck all the way from Louisiana. Sophie came home to Queens and has been the "Queen" of the pack ever since. That was 10 years ago.
