Abby was to be fostered “temporarily” for 3 weeks while the local humane society relocated to permanent quarters. Upon trying to return Abby after the 3 weeks, the foster mom and Abby sat in the car and cried because the adventure was over. But it wasn’t! Foster mom ended up adopting Abby and 10 years later, the adventure still continues. Best decision ever!
