Frosty was found on the plains of eastern Colorado, tied to an oil rig with a handful of other dogs. He had been left there with a gunshot wound to his right hind leg until a Good Samaritan found them and called for help. Frosty was brought to LHS and received an amputation, after which my partner and I fostered him through his recovery. Returning him for adoption was one of the hardest things we’ve done and it just didn’t feel right. We immediately called to put a hold on him and brought him back home as soon as possible. Frosty is our best golden boy, protector, and snuggle bug. He is smart, loving, adorable and loyal. He is everything we ever wanted and more. We love you, Frosty!
