Your Pet's Story or Bio
Onyx was extremely timid when I adopted her. My previous kitty had succumbed to laryngeal paralysis and I wasn’t quite ready for her, but Onyx had been in the shelter for months. Onyx was timid and I was grieving, but I thought she could hide out at my house as well as in the shelter until we got used to each other. This did happen over time and now she reigns over my home and I am her humble servant. She is very vocal and screams at guests to go home if they stay too late. Onyx stays inside because I value my birds, but she has saved my windows by chasing the birds pecking at them. Onyx is a very affectionate, playful kitty (she sleeps with me every night), and her favorite toy is a classic ball of yarn.
