Buster was diagnosed with MCT on 12/18/21. In march of 2022 he was given the prognosis of 12-24 months w/ chemotherapy. He did 9 months of chemo until he was starting to show major side effects that I didn’t want to keep putting him through to keep him an extra year if that. Taking him off was one of the hardest decisions, but he’s been chemo free since January 2023 + is currently alive and thriving. We’re on a palliative care route, but love having our platform on IG to bring awareness to canine cancer and educate people on how common it is. Hopefully one day we can find a cure working together so no family has to go through what all canine cancer dogs do! Thanks for all you guys do!
