Slugger was rescued from a puppy mill in Kentucky at 3 months old. When I first picked him up, he was in the same pen as goats and chickens, and ended up having giardia and 3 types of worms. Slugger is a Chinese Sharpei mix (75% shar pei). Once he was treated, Slugger’s character blossomed and he became such a sweet goofy boy. He picks playing with dogs over toys, and loves to run! He loves the city and exploring outside Chicago. He gives the best kisses on and off command, and loves bunnies. His favorite place to play is montrose dog beach or Horner park.
