Tell us about your pup
After losing my little Maltese, I sought a dog I could love and give a good home. I saw April’s eyes on the Little White Dog Rescue page and it was like I was looking at my Maltese, who just passed. I decided to adopt the little Havanese even though there was going to be a lot of effort to get her to adjust to the outside world. As I was in the process, my husband saw Camo’s picture and had to have him. He saw in him, intelligence, which turned out to be accurate. So, to my surprise, we adopted both dogs and they have become inseparable. They love treats, walks, naps and going for rides.
When we got April, she had little muscle tone in her back legs and very skittish. Now, you can see April off her leash and run along the side of Camo. Camo has learned to ring the bell to go outside, dance for treats, and meet my husband at the back door with a toy in his mouth.
Its been one year since we adopted the pair and we couldn't be happier.
