Fun Facts About Your Rescue Dog
Both of our babes came from Lifeline Puppy Rescue. Lux (red pack) was only 8 weeks old and Maya (orange pack) was 4 months. Maya had a rough beginning. She was in a puppy mill with sores all over her bottom from sitting in confined hard surfaces, and we didn't know if they would ever heal or not. Lux was found abandoned with two of her litter mates in a box on the side of the road in NM.

We are so happy to report that both girls are thriving, beautiful, happy and healthy souls now. We take them on all of our adventures far and wide which means their wardrobe and gear list is nearly as long as ours! This shot was on a multi-day backpacking trail called Four Pass Loop on top of Gunsight Pass in the Maroon-Bells wilderness. They handled it like beasts! They have also each entered the double digits for summitting 14ers! They are athletic mountain goats and are up for whatever challenge we throw at them. I could not be more thankful to Lifeline for giving us our furry companions. They have made all the difference in the world to our family ♥️♥️
