A little about me...
Ellie was rescued from a plantation. She was bred to flush out birds in the field and her first two years lived primarily in a kennel unless on a hunt. Obviously she didn't like this lifestyle and probably did not like being shocked to return to the truck. One day she just decided to run to the nearest farm which was filled with children and wonderful caretakers who fostered her while looking for a permanent home. I found her on petfinder.com. The rest is another story indeed, getting a dog that had no idea of house rules and good manners. She is absolutely goofy and fun but still loves to point, stalk and flush out birds, lizards and other critters in the grass. She loves all creatures, big and small and never meets a stranger. Ellie is a love and I am forever grateful to those that saved her. Also forever grateful to Camp Mojo's who keeps her safe and helps with training. She loves it as much as I do (and I wish I could upload the hundreds of happiness pics from Mojos').
