A little about me...
Saylor is 8 years old, adoptable, and currently doing time as the office manager at Leon County Humane Society. She's been with us for a year and two months, and she really deserves a promotion to your lap cat.
She spent her whole life in her previous home, but when she got a uti and started peeing outside the litter box, her owners brought her to the vet to have her put down. Luckily, vets recognized this was a medical issue and would resolve with treatment, so instead they had her owners surrender her into our care. As expected, after treating her UTI and switching her to a urinary care diet, she's had no problems.
Saylor loves chatting with her people, sitting in laps, stealing pre-heated chairs, getting her chin scritched, and ringing her bell to let people know she would like a treat, please.
She doesn't love everyone, which just makes her love a little more special. She gets along with some cats, some dogs, some people, but you can tilt the scale in your favor with a bribe.
After waiting more than a year for her forever home, we think she deserves the calendar fame. Maybe her future adopter will even vote for her.
