A little about me...
For years the boys had been asking for a dog. As a solo parent, I was hesitant, and one of my children had a dog allergy, even to hypo-allergenic dogs. After my other child's depression diagnosis, I decided his mental health was more important. I knew firsthand the bodily comfort a puppy could provide.

I saw a white boxer and blue heeler mix available on LCR's website and inquired about the 4-month-old. Sadly, he was spoken for — we would keep looking. Two days later LCR called to say Glitch is available. I elicit promises from the boys to help walk and care for him. They would have agreed to eat greens with every meal.

Glitch was just what we needed, an interruption to our normal — now two adolescent boys with gangly legs and one canine with furry paws limbs are happily together, hearts and limbs entwined.
