A little about me...
Monkey was being fostered by Melissa Sell for 9 months before I chose him from the PetFinder site. I drove to The Ranch to pick him up and finally met with Melissa, Dakota, and the staff of LCR. From the tears and we’ll wishes from his Foster Mamma and Foster sister, and the happiness of the staff that Monkey had found his forever home, I knew that I had indeed chosen a sweetheart of a dog! I learned that he had inspired a book by a local artist/author, Inga Eissmann Bucella, called Lucky Duck, and unfortunately, he missed his appearance at the book signing…because he traveled both to Massachusetts with me!! Who’s the Lucky Duck in this story? Me! Thank you Melissa! Thank you LCR!
