Baja was rescued from the Espanola Humane Society in 2017. Raised in Durango for the past 6 years, you name it he's done it. This guy was born for adventure! Two and half years ago, Baja tore both ACLs due to a genetic condition and repaired it with a double knee surgery. He did all his adventures in a stroller until he was ready to walk again. After a six month recovery and physical therapy three times a day, Baja persevered! This taught us the value of our adventures and we don't take a single day for granted. Everyday Baja gets out to Falls Creek or Overland Mountain Park and runs his heart out! Winter is Baja's favorite season, we have always called him a Powderhound. This boy's resilience and love for adventure is an inspiration everyday! Baja is the ultimate Powderhound.
