Your Pet's Story
Rika is a 9-year-old rescue dog that thinks she's 9 months old. She loves playing in the snow and gets along great with other dogs. Here she's showing her "foster sister" Sunnyside how to catch snowballs. Sunnyside, a 5-year-old female gave birth to 11 puppies at LPCHS in Nov 2021, and had been there for 3 months when we started fostering her. She's such a sweet and loving dog, and we're happy to report that there was a happy ending to her rough 3 months. Four days after this photo was taken, she was adopted into her forever home!
