My name is Dundee aka Houdini. When I was a year old my family turned me in to animal control because I was too active. Then I moved to Lake Norman Humane. After 2 days I escaped and went on the run trying to get back to my family. I ran around Iredell County for 3 weeks before I was captured. Every family that adopted me, I escaped. The person I wanted to be my new mom worked at Lake Norman Humane. I did everything I could to make her adopt me. Finally in Feb 2022, after a year at LKNH, and a lot of persistence, she adopted me. Now I have a mom, a dad, a brother, and a sister…..a forever family!!
