Gracie (aka Jewels) is a LAM alumni. I named her “Grace” because “by the Grace of God…” she survived her tough start in life with such an amazing spirit! When found, She had a broken leg, litter of puppies and was tied to a tree. She was rescued, went through surgery, a long recuperation, then got cancer. She had 6 chemo treatments and is now cancer free! After all this-she is a happy, “runs like the wind” almost two year old gentle soul. Gracie has been my companion now for 10 months and brings great joy to me and my friends and neighbors. She is so easy to love, and her “can do” spirit is pure grace!
