Pet's Story or Bio
Whiskey (formerly Luna) is a rescue. We got her from the Kitchener shelter. We were looking for a husky/shepherd mix and Whiskey appeared to fit the bill. Not knowing her history, we had her DNA tested. Turns out Whiskey is a pure-bred mutt! She is mostly a husky and a boxer, but also a German shepherd dog, rottweiler, lab, and Australian cattle dog (going back to her grandparents).

Whiskey is (was) a runner, who chased and tried to eat anything she caught, including fish, frogs (yes, she was fishing/catching them underwater), snakes, rabbits, squirrels, skunks, raccoons, and birds. Unfortunately, a few years ago, she tore her knee ligaments, so now she is a leash dog, but she still keeps a close eye on all the critters during her walks.
