We adopted Caleb 6 years ago from the Toronto Humane Society. Caleb was labeled as High pray Drive and couldn't be around any other animals big or small. He even had his own section in Toronto Humane Society by himself. Caleb had also just gone through treatment for a severe case of heartworm. With some work and some patients we took Caleb to doggie daycare where he saw what it was like to have friends to play with everyday. Today Caleb is a happy-go-lucky boy who loves running around with his friends in the backyard I'm going for long walks in the neighborhood. One of Caleb's best friends is a cat named Winston which surprised everyone as we were told this would be impossible due to his very high preydrive. Caleb's other best friend is his brother from another mother a golden retriever named Bodhi. The two of them love chasing each other around the backyard and soaking up the sun on a nice day Adopting Caleb is the best thing we ever did I absolutely adore this boy and every day he amazes me with his great personality as he is such a goofball. Caleb spent 10 long months in the THS due to his heartworm and his prey drive. And I can never thank the Toronto Humane Society more for taking such good care of Caleb during his treatment. People say he's lucky that he found us but I think we're the lucky ones to have found him.
